Laurel Loomer is a highly accomplished professional with dental hygiene and law expertise. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Cabrillo College in 1996 and her certification as a Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice from the University of the Pacific in 2006. Laurel launched her own successful independent hygiene practice in 2007.
Driven by a passion for advocacy and problem-solving, Laurel transitioned to law, graduating from Lincoln Law School of San Jose in 2012. She excelled academically, earning spots on the Dean’s List, top grades in Contracts and Business Organizations, and multiple awards. As Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, she demonstrated her leadership and commitment to excellence. She passed the California Bar Exam on her first attempt in 2012.
Since then, Laurel has built a thriving legal career, focusing on civil litigation, bankruptcy, business law, contract formation, estate planning, and probate. In August 2024, she expanded her professional services by earning her California Professional Fiduciary License. Laurel now accepts positions as a professional trustee, executor, and conservator.
Laurel also combines her dental and legal expertise to support dental professionals. She authored and published the book Dental Law and Ethics, A Guide for Prospective Applicants, which aims to help dental assistants pass the law and ethics portion of the California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) exam. She further contributes by teaching and guiding prospective applicants in preparing for and passing the exam successfully.
